I read the book Talking to the moon in one go… It just felt near to the heart. I can relate to each and every word you have written. I wonder how Indian and Russian society have same backward viewpoint towards women and queer community.. Still I love my country more than anything like You do. The book was so heart touching that I was crying most of the times.. Again thank you so much for being a role model.

Just read your book and thoroughly enjoyed it and was blown away that you both met and have stayed together. I hope one day, in your dotage, you can find somewhere to settle down, if you wish too of course. I am 73 an incurable romantic, married and live in Devon in England. Keep safe, fair winds and continue to be happy.

I read Meg’s book first, and just now have finished reading yours…… I can only say thankyou. Sharing your story/journey is truly inspirational. On the one hand, how can life/the world/people be so cruel and yet on the other hand so wonderful? It’s just the way it is.

I can’t believe this story has no reviews. It is a story of the courage to break out of expected roles and taking the plunge an uncertain future. Her heart is still Russian with so deep feelings and the way she tells their story. It is lengthy at times but necessary to reflect the inner turmoil. I will be following their journey.

An absurdly powerful and inspiring story told through such a clear and vulnerable lens. Made me appreciate the countless things we all take for granted. We have full autonomy over our lives and that’s not just a given, it’s luck. Love has so much power. Maybe one of the greatest real life love stories I’ve come across.
